These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Tribe mobile application and related services (the "Service") operated by Tribe ("we", "our", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
You must provide accurate and complete registration information.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Acceptable Use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

Post content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or discriminatory
Impersonate any person or entity
Use the Service for commercial solicitation or spam
Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful data
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or our systems
Create events with the intent to defraud, scam, or mislead other users
Collect or harvest other users' personal information without their consent

4. Events & Content

Event hosts are solely responsible for the accuracy of event information, the conduct of their events, and compliance with local laws and regulations.
User-generated content (event descriptions, chat messages, images) remains the property of the creator, but you grant Tribe a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display it within the Service.
We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
Tribe does not endorse, verify, or guarantee the safety of any event listed on the platform.
We (the developers) are not responsible or liable for any force majeure scenarios, including but not limited to event cancellations, unforeseeable disruptions, or any related issues.

5. Safety & Liability

Important: Tribe is a platform that facilitates connections between people. We are not responsible for the actions, behavior, or conduct of any user, whether online or at in-person events. You attend events at your own risk.

Tribe is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Service or attendance at events.
We do not perform background checks on users.
You should exercise reasonable caution when meeting people through the Service.

6. Intellectual Property

The Tribe name, logo, design, and software are the intellectual property of Tribe.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time through Profile → Legal → Delete Account.
We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms, with or without notice.
Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the app or email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Austria.
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Vienna, Austria.
EU consumers may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
